Enter Your Stops
How long do you want to drive before taking a break? We will find places to eat, drink, and stay near that point on your route.
How the Route Planner Works
Enter between 2 and 20 UK postcodes as your stops. The route planner will geocode each postcode, then use Google Maps Directions to calculate the best driving route between them.
When Optimise stop order is enabled, the planner will automatically reorder your intermediate stops to minimise the total driving distance. Your start and end points stay fixed, but everything in between is rearranged for maximum efficiency. This is particularly useful for delivery drivers, sales reps, or anyone with multiple appointments in a day.
The pit stop feature lets you set your preferred driving time before a break. We find the exact point along your route where you will have been driving for that long, then show nearby places to eat, drink, and (for journeys of 4 hours or more) hotels for an overnight stay. Premier Inn locations are highlighted with direct booking links, and other hotels link to Booking.com.
You might also find our Halfway Meeting Point Calculator useful for finding a fair place to meet, or our Radius Distance Tool for seeing what is within a certain distance of a postcode.
